The 32-team FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia is in the knockout rounds and it has been one of the best ever tournaments as the likes of England, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, France, Sweden, Colombia and one of the hosts, Australia, are battling for the World Cup trophy.
Vlatko Andonovski coached USA crashed out at the last 16 stage and will not be crowned World Cup champions once again. Veterans Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe led the team but they couldn’t finish their chances and their bid at an historic three-peat was unsuccessful.
